Working Together
-
We create flowers for events, installations, brand experiences, editorial projects, private celebrations, and a limited number of weddings each year. Our delivery collection is available throughout Greater Los Angeles.
-
Los Angeles is home, but our work regularly travels wherever the project takes us. We’ve created work across the country for brands, venues, and private clients alike.
-
The earlier, the better. Larger installations and seasonal events often begin planning months in advance, though we’ll always do our best to accommodate shorter timelines when our schedule allows. So always reach out, we have a small but mighty team.
-
We’ll review your project and follow up with next steps. Depending on the scope, we’ll either prepare a proposal or schedule a conversation to learn more.
-
Every project is different, so investment is based on scale, scope, and logistics. Once we learn more about what you’re planning, we’ll prepare a proposal tailored to your project.
The Design Process
-
Absolutely. We welcome inspiration and meaningful requests whenever possible. Every arrangement, however, is ultimately guided by seasonality, quality at market, and the overall creative direction.
-
No two arrangements are ever exactly alike. While we’re happy to use previous work as a point of reference, every piece is created specifically for its moment.
-
Please do. We see inspiration as a starting point rather than a blueprint. Our role is to interpret what draws you to an image and create something that feels distinctly yours.
-
Every arrangement begins at market. Rather than designing around a fixed recipe, we source what feels most compelling that week and allow those ingredients to shape the final composition.
Local Floral Deliveries
-
Our delivery collection is available throughout Greater Los Angeles. Beyond that, our work travels wherever stories are being told.
-
Orders are best placed at least 24 hours in advance, though we’ll always do our best to accommodate same-day requests when possible. Once your order is placed, you’ll receive a confirmation email, followed by a second email once your arrangement has been successfully delivered.
-
To ensure every arrangement is delivered with care, we offer delivery windows rather than guaranteed delivery times. If your order is for a time-sensitive occasion, let us know before placing your order, and we’ll do our best to accommodate for an additional fee.
-
Yes. We offer weekly and bi-weekly deliveries for homes, restaurants, hotels, offices, and retail spaces throughout Greater Los Angeles. Just send us an email at info@theboywhocriedflowers.com to get started.
-
Rather than measuring arrangements by exact dimensions, we think about how they’ll live in a space. Each scale reflects the overall presence of the piece, from smaller gestures to more expansive compositions.
Workshops
-
We host both scheduled public workshops and private experiences at our DTLA design studio. From bouquet making and centerpieces to kokedama and orchid potting, each workshop is designed to be hands-on, approachable, and creatively engaging.
-
Absolutely. While our public workshops follow a set format, private workshops are designed around your group and goals. Whether you’re arranging flowers for your own celebration, learning a specific floral technique, or you’re a fellow florist looking to build an installation, we’ll tailor the experience to what you’d like to create.
-
Not at all. Our workshops are designed for every level of experience, from complete beginners to professional florists looking to expand their skill set. Every workshop begins with curiosity. Where it ends depends on what you’d like to learn.
-
Yes. We regularly bring workshops to offices, private homes, event venues, and brand activations. Whether it’s an intimate gathering or a large-scale experience, we’ll create a workshop that fits your space and occasion.
